Full Project Schedule

After about a day of planning out how our project is going to go, me and my partner have now came up with a full schedule which highlights exactly what we are going to do for each week we have to work on this project. Below is a picture of the project schedule on paper that we wrote when we were first planning our schedule and edited as we continued planning:

Here is an idea of our schedule in text:

Week 1 (1/16-1/23): Watch various film openings produced from past years' students; Research various genres (would choose one in week 2). (Week has already passed).

Week 2 (1/26-2/1): Make the schedule (already done); Choose a genre that we both agree on and make ideas based on the genre; Create a story board; Research character development, media theories, and create a rough outline of the film opening. All while gathering inspiration.

Week 3 (2/2-2/8): Begin filming (film A LOT); Record audio (foley); Analyze exactly what we film and how exactly we go forward with the recordings.

Week 4 (2/9-2/15): Start eliminating subpar recordings and begin editing good recordings; Find out what we did wrong during recording.

Week 5 (2/16-2/22): Extension of week 4. (Mostly refining our edits).

Week 6 (2/23-3/1): Fully finish film opening; Begin planning and answering questions of CCR; Plan and begin production of CCR.

Week 7 (3/2-3/8): Continue and finish answering questions and production of CCR.

Week 8 (3/9-3/17): Extension of week 7. (Extra time to refine and finish CCR if needed; Submit final project).

Keep in mind that during the eight weeks it will take to produce the finished project, we will also be keeping up with various blog posts that range from many topics such as research, production process, summaries, and plans. Stay tuned for them!
